Flying an ARLISS Rocket

At the 2004 XPRS launch this year, we will be launching ARLISS rockets for the sixth year. ARLISS, A Rocket Launch for International Student Satellites, is a program where AERO-PAC rocketeers fly small satellites for Aero/Astro students. We've even flown stuff for NASA employees!

We need people to build and fly these rockets. To fly an ARLISS rocket you must:

• be an AERO-PAC member.
• for an ARLISS-K rocket, be TRA level 2 certified before the launch.
• For an ARLISS-M rocket, be TRA level 3 certified before the launch.
• pay for and build a rocket to ARLISS specifications. Design info is on the resources page.
• attend the  launch and devote at least 1 day to ARLISS program.
